The Munsterman Group LLC is a small and efficient residential design firm located in Tahoe Vista, California, on the north shore of Lake Tahoe. Serving mainly California, Montana and Idaho, we specialize in combining state-of-the-art construction technologies with authentic construction techniques, creating unique alternative "hybrid" designs in a variety of styles. Our firm has found success in remaining a smaller boutique company over the years, enabling each client to receive a higher level of attention and professional service.

The company is the continuing evolution of a business started in 1987 by Dale Munsterman, a Certified Professional Building Designer with the American Institute of Building Design. Having worked hands-on in various disciplines within the construction industry for many years, his expertise lies in providing balance. He feels that consistently striving for an appropriate balance between designs that inspire, yet remain extremely buildable is the key to design finesse. As a long-time member of the North Tahoe Design Site Review Committee, Dale also draws on years of experience working with the Tahoe Regional Planning Agency and various other agencies and associations that influence the local design environment.
